This rewarding, participant focused position works with a team dedicated to enabling people living with disabilities to reach their goals.
The role involves:
- Liaising with external providers and carers and be the first point of contact for all current participant enquiries
- Intake and Assessment of prospective participants
- Monitoring and updating participant service agreements, budgets and funding, including drafting proposed supports
- Attending meetings, expos and forums to promote Parkside to the public and
- Participate in quality assurance activities, including undertaking internal audits.
The role works in line with the requirements of the NDIA Practice Standards, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and the new Disability Rights,
Inclusion and Safeguarding Act 2024.
You will require extensive knowledge and experience of the disability sector, including demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the NDIS, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a vibrant personality.
