The Role:

- Maintain village grounds in a neat and tidy condition
- Perform general gardening tasks, including weeding, mowing lawns, and pruning trees
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment effectively
- Empty and clean village rubbish bins regularly
- Undertake minor maintenance duties as needed
- Able to handle extra tasks as needed
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Availability to work on a 14/7 roster cycle (14 days on, 7 days off).
- Willing to work 10-hour shifts each day
- Maintain a strict health and hygiene standards and systems
- Ability to travel in/out from site at own expense

We’re looking for candidates with:

- A current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 is highly desirable
- At least 1 year experience working in a remote mine-site village or workforce camps
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously
- Friendly and considerate attitude to promote a positive work environment

you must have or be willing to obtain:

- Must have an Open Australian Driver's Licence/Manual C Class (pref. Manual & must be any Australian State) - International licence is not accepted
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
- Have a recent National Police Check (within 1 month)
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia
