Landpower Southern is seeking a qualified mechanic to join our Ballarat workshop team.
This is a varied, hands-on role working across a broad range of farm machinery and equipment. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs both in the workshop and on-site at farms throughout the region.
The role
As part of the Landpower Southern service team, you will:
- Diagnose, service and repair a wide variety of farm machinery
- Complete scheduled maintenance and general workshop repairs
- Attend on-farm service calls and breakdowns
- Accurately record completed work, parts and service information
- Work closely with the workshop, parts and service teams
- Provide reliable, professional service to customers
About you To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A relevant mechanical trade qualification
- Experience working with agricultural, diesel or heavy machinery
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A current Australian drivers licence
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A practical, safety-focused approach to your work
