What you'll be doing:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of construction and earthmoving equipment
- Completing fit-outs and pre-delivery work on new and used machinery
- Diagnosing faults and responding to customer breakdowns both in the workshop and in the field
- Providing exceptional customer service while working independently or alongside a skilled service team
- Following safe work practices and maintaining high-quality workmanship at all times
- Working with the latest equipment and, where applicable, supporting electric machinery and evolving technologies
What you'll need:
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic,
Fitter General, or similar
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing construction, earthmoving, agricultural, or mobile plant equipment
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
- Current Australian driver's licence
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Electrical knowledge or experience with electric plant equipment will be highly regarded but is not essential
