Experienced ServiceNow Developer required for a major platform transformation.

Your new company

Our client is a large and well established Queensland organisation undertaking a significant transformation of its ServiceNow environment. As part of a full platform replatforming initiative, an opportunity has become available for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join the team and support both the existing platform and the wider transformation program.

This is a 6 month initial contract opportunity with the possibility of extension, based onsite at Mt Gravatt. During the initial stages of the engagement, a strong onsite presence will be required to support onboarding and integration with the team. Hybrid working arrangements may be considered once established within the role.

Your new role

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a hands-on role supporting and enhancing the existing ServiceNow platform while contributing to a major replatforming initiative alongside an external implementation partner.

Working within an internal technology team, your responsibilities will include:

- Developing, configuring and enhancing the ServiceNow platform
- Supporting day-to-day platform operations and technical improvements
- Designing and implementing workflows, automations and service management solutions
- Developing business rules, client scripts, UI policies and platform integrations
- Supporting platform upgrades, change requests and enhancement initiatives
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and delivery partners to ensure successful outcomes
- Providing technical expertise,



troubleshooting and best-practice guidance across the platform
- Contributing to a governance, compliance and process-driven delivery environment

What you'll need to succeed

- Strong commercial experience as a ServiceNow Developer, Engineer or Administrator
- Hands on experience developing and supporting ServiceNow platforms in complex environments
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflows, business rules, client scripts and platform configuration
- Robust JavaScript development skills
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems and applications
- Ability to work within structured governance and compliance frameworks
- Experience collaborating with internal teams, vendors and delivery partners
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to hit the ground running and contribute from day one

Highly regarded

- Experience supporting large-scale ServiceNow implementation or replatforming projects
- Exposure to Azure cloud environments and integration technologies
- Experience working within education, government or other highly regulated environments
- ITSM, ITOM or ServiceNow certification
