As we continue to grow, we are looking for a confident, motivated, and customer focused Assistant Showroom Manager and Design Consultant to join our Mandurah showroom.

This full time role is perfect for somebody who enjoys performing leadership responsibilities, helping customers make decisions, have strong sales and communication skills, and is keen to learn about tiles, interiors, and design. Whether you have a background in retail management, sales, customer service, or interior design, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As an Assistant Showroom Manager & Design Consultant, you’ll help customers bring their projects to life, from initial consultation to final order.



Your focus will be on providing exceptional service, guiding selection choices, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the customers tile journey. You will report to the Showroom Manager and be supported and work collaboratively with your fellow Showroom Consultants and the Tile Empire management team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in the showroom and respond to all customer enquiries
- Provide personalised guidance on tile selections, layouts, and design combinations (training provided)
- Generate estimates/quotations, follow up on sales leads
- Process orders, Coordinate and track incoming stock, & scheduling tile deliveries
- Support designers, architects, builders, and trade clients where needed
- Deliver outstanding service at every stage of the customers Tile journey
- You will assist the Showroom Manager in all management duties.
- You will be acting Showroom Manager during any time showroom manager is on leave.
- Maintain Warehouse operations, stocking, safety, appearance,

- Confident, professional, and passionate about helping customers achieve their project goals
- Experienced in sales, retail, or customer service,



ideally with a track record of achieving results
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Highly organised, detail oriented, and proactive in your approach to working
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Available to work Saturdays as part of your roster
- Having interest or experience in interior design, tiles, or building products is desirable, but not required
- Enjoy providing Leadership, mentoring and team support to your showroom team.
- Previous Management experience ideal, and relish working with Showroom Manager forming a strong management team.
- Forklift license - Desirable
