The Role:

Join our team as a Crane Operator for our casual pool for our Shutdown division across various sites across the Pilbara.

Working predominantly throughout the Pilbara, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients across numerous sites and locations. Being part of the Mammoet’s Shutdown Crew means you get to join a team who thinks big and pushes the limits of their expert.

Mammoet is seeking Crane Operators available ASAP to support our ongoing shutdown work by joining our Shutdown Crew.

Working with Mammoet means joining the team behind some of the world’s biggest and most challenging heavy lifts—while enjoying a range of outstanding benefits, including:





- Competitive rates of $66–$78 per hour (depending on tickets and shift)
- Peak period from 12 August to 31 August 2026, with strong potential for ongoing work beyond the shutdown
- FIFO from your nearest capital city, with flights arranged and a travel allowance provided

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Preparing and handling auxiliary equipment for the lifting, transport and movement of project loads
- Securing the load and the job site
- Installing and disassembling ancillary materials
- Guiding the operator through signaling and radio comms
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the required standard

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Proficiency in rigging practices
- Experience with the Heavy Lift Industry and Mining Industry
- Australian High Risk Work License for Rigging (RI, RA)
- Valid Working at Heights Certification
- Australian Driver's License
- OHS Certification (Blue or White Card)
- Unrestricted Australian Work Rights
