About the Role

As a Skip Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, collection and relocation of skip bins across our service area. You'll work closely with our operations team to ensure customers receive prompt, professional service while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate skip trucks throughout Ipswich, Brisbane and surrounding areas.
- Deliver, collect and relocate skip bins at customer sites.
- Complete daily pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load, unload and secure skip bins safely.
- Follow scheduled routes and dispatch instructions.
- Comply with all road transport, Chain of Responsibility and workplace safety requirements.
- Complete delivery documentation and electronic job records.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.




- Report vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with yard duties and general housekeeping when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current MR Licence (minimum) – HR Licence highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles safely.
- Good understanding of Queensland road rules and heavy vehicle regulations.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Clean driving history.
- Ability to work independently and manage your daily workload.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Physically fit and capable of manual tasks including handling chains, tarps and skip equipment.
- Previous experience in waste management, transport or construction industries will be highly regarded.
