Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup Settlements Coordinator?

Are you detail‑driven and process‑oriented with a knack for managing documentation and credit workflows? We’re looking for a Settlements Coordinator to join our operations team, supporting the novated leasing process through to settlement – ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every step of the way.

This is a customer‑facing role, ideal for someone who thrives in customer service, managing documentation, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring all settlement processes are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Prepare and issue finance and leasing documentation with precision and timeliness.
- Attend to both inbound and outbound customer calls and emails.
- Manage the end‑to‑end novated lease settlement process, including responsibility for a pipeline of deals.
- Liaise with customers, financiers, employers,

and dealers to ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding documents to ensure timely settlements.
- Ensure all data entry and system updates are accurate and aligned with compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to support seamless post‑sale fulfilment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy and regulatory requirements.

What you will bring:

- 1+ year experience in finance, or compliance‑based role.
- Proven Customer Service experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Familiarity with credit application processes or leasing documentation (preferred).
- Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process‑driven environment.
- Proficiency with internal systems and documentation workflows.

What’s in it for you?

Smart team members enjoy a range of benefits designed to support flexibility, wellbeing, reward, and growth:

- Smart Leave, an additional week of leave each year.
- Free lunch every week.

- Up to 20 weeks paid parental leave with superannuation contributions and a return‑to‑work bonus.
- Make a Difference Days – paid days off to volunteer for the community and environment.
- Salary packaging and novated leasing benefits (of course!).
- Free flu vaccinations.
- Employee Share Plan.
