About Us: JMD FM Pty Ltd (JMD Facility Management) is a growing facilities management company based in Karratha, Western Australia. We provide comprehensive commercial, industrial and maintenance services across the Pilbara region.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, management reports and budgets.
- Maintain general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, GST and other statutory compliance reports.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance and business expenditure.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
- Prepare payroll reconciliations and financial records.
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in an accounting role is preferred.
- Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation legislation.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CPA/CA qualification or progress towards certification is desirable.
