A major transformation program is entering its discovery phase, is seeking a Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping both the current‑state understanding and the future‑state design across a large, complex digital ecosystem. In this role, you will help shape both current‑state documentation and future‑state design across a large, complex digital ecosystem. This role will be key to SAP ecosystem optimisation, and enterprise archiving, retention and storage across HR/Payroll.
This role is well‑supported, highly visible, and critical to establishing the architectural foundations for the next phase of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution design for optimisation and archiving streams.
- Document current and target state architecture and produce high‑quality design artefacts.
- Manage data archiving across multiple environments, including SAP.
- Support environment rationalisation across HR/PY and IWFM systems.
- Work closely with technical SMEs to supplement internal capability.
- Contribute to future‑state thinking, operating model alignment and ecosystem simplification.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience designing solutions within SAP landscapes.
- Understanding of SAP integrations and interdependencies.
- Experience with SAP ILM, BTP or RISE highly beneficial.
- Background in archiving, retention or environment rationalisation.
- Ability to produce explicit, structured solution design documentation.
- Comfortable working in discovery phases and shaping architectural direction.
