Lead the architecture of a major SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation. Your new company

I'm currently partnering with a large enterprise organisation undertaking a significant SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation and am looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of innovative digital solutions within a complex SAP environment.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile enterprise program, working across architecture, development, integration, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions that drive real business outcomes.

Your new role

As the Solutions Architect, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists to design, build, and implement enterprise-grade digital solutions aligned to strategic business objectives.You'll be involved across the full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture design through to development, testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and sustainable digital solutions within an SAP-centric ecosystem.
- Lead solution design activities across development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Design and build custom applications and integrations using modern frameworks and development technologies.
- Provide expert advice on architecture, technical feasibility, security, privacy, governance, and operational requirements.
- Ensure solutions are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
- Apply user experience and interface design principles to maximise usability and adoption.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers,



and technical teams to integrate solutions across the broader technology landscape.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Contribute to coding standards, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

We're looking for a hands-on Solutions Architect who combines strong technical capability with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.You will bring:

- Proven experience delivering end-to-end digital solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong expertise across SAP technologies and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience designing solutions within large and complex enterprise environments.
- Full-stack development experience using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and integration architectures.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and version control tools such as Git.
- Experience applying UX/UI best practices to deliver intuitive and effective digital solutions.
- The ability to translate business requirements into practical technical outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
