Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Sourcing Specialist / Vendor Manager. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and selecting vendors to support IT services and solutions, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Daily tasks include managing procurement activities, negotiating contracts, maintaining vendor relationships, and monitoring vendor performance against agreed service levels.

The Sourcing

Specialist / Vendor Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, mitigate supplier risks, and optimize sourcing strategies. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, supporting compliance with company policies, and contributing to continuous improvement of vendor and procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate vendor performance, compare proposals, and support data-driven decisions.




- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels with vendors.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and maintain skilled vendor relationships.
- Candidates should possess Procurement skills to manage sourcing processes, purchase orders, and supplier selection activities.
- Candidates should possess Contract Management skills to oversee agreements, ensure compliance, and track renewals and obligations.
- Experience in IT services or technology-related sourcing is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting are preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
