The Opportunity

This is not a back-office parts processing role.

We are looking for a sales-driven Spare Parts Interpreter who thrives on customer interaction and knows how to turn a parts enquiry into a sales opportunity. You will be the frontline face of HELI Oceania — advising customers, solving problems, and building relationships that keep their fleets running and their businesses moving.

If you have the technical knowledge to identify the right part and the commercial instinct to upsell, cross-sell, and close the deal, you'll fit right in.

As a Spare Parts Interpreter, your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

· Act as the primary point of contact for walk-in, phone, and email parts enquiries

· Interpret customer requirements, identify the correct parts, and provide expert technical advice

· Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities on every interaction

· Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for customers

· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with internal and external customers

· Drive individual and team parts sales performance against targets

Key Requirements：

· Minimum 2+ years of previous Spare Parts Interpreting experience (highly regarded)

· Experience in the forklift or heavy equipment industry (advantageous)

· Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical parts requirements

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills





· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Experience with Base plan software (preferred, but not essential)

· Forklift Licence (preferred, not essential)

· Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively

· Ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· A genuine sales mindset – you enjoy engaging with customers and driving results
