About the Role

We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Speech Pathologist take up a Team Leader positionwithin our team.

Your role will include

- providing regular formal supervision to each clinician within your team, at a level and frequency that meets their needs.
- being available as a point of contact for informal discussions, questions and de-briefing with clinicians
- completing joint assessment/therapy sessions with clinicians, as the need arises.
- reviewing reports and documentation to maintain consistency across the team.
- attending and contributing to planning meetings held by the Leadership Team.
- identifying the need for and developing departmental resources
- Participating in the appraisal process for team members
- Developing and implementing Career Development Plans for clinicians to identify areas of focus to help them meet their individual career progression goals.
- Positively contributing to the team culture.
- Managing a small clinical caseload.

About You As the successful candidate, you will be an Speech Pathologist that has:

- SPA registration
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology, with minimum 3 year's experience.




- Demonstrated skills in leading and coaching others.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Current drivers licence

- Caseload preference and proximity - We are seeking a Speech Pathologist that is experienced in working with adolescent and adult populations (paediatric focused SP's with interest in broadening skillset into adults is also suitable). We ensure that travel is within a 30-minute radius of your home or the office.
- Mentorship and direct daily contact with Company Directors (2 x Occupational Therapists who each have 20 + years of clinical experience) as well as targeted Speech specific supervision.
