Overview

Halcyon Knights is recruiting on behalf of a South Australian State Government agency for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (ASO6) to join their team on a contract through to 30 June 2027. This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the implementation of a new HR platform while contributing to broader strategic human resources initiatives across the agency. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to support the transition to a up-to-date HR system designed specifically for the South Australian public sector. The platform will manage key HR functions including recruitment, learning and development, performance management and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the implementation, administration and ongoing optimisation of the agency's new HR platform.
- Provide expertise in HR systems administration and contribute to successful change management activities.
- Develop and deliver learning and development resources to support the rollout and ongoing use of the new system.
- Review, develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with South Australian Public Sector requirements.
- Provide high-level human resources advice and support to managers and key stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the People and Culture function.

About You





- Significant experience within a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar position.
- Experience implementing, administering or supporting Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, including the development of training materials and resources.
- Demonstrated experience supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives.
- Experience reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Previous experience working within the South Australian Public Sector will be highly regarded.

- ASO6 hourly rate of $69.04 - $71.70 plus superannuation
