How Carevo Works
Carevo is a curated availability directory that connects care workers, such as gardeners, with NDIS and aged care providers across Australia. Instead of applying for fixed listings, you register once, providing your availability, experience and current certifications. Carevo then makes your profile visible to providers in its network who are looking for gardening support near you. When a provider has a participant who needs a gardener, they view your profile and contact you directly. You decide whether the opportunity suits your schedule and preferences.
About the Gardener Role
Gardeners working through Carevo’s network visit NDIS participants and aged‑care clients regularly, typically fortnightly. Your tasks may include mowing lawns, edging, weeding garden beds, pruning shrubs and small trees, clearing gutters, raking leaves, mulching, and keeping paths clear so the outdoor areas are safe to move through.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does Carevo have gardener jobs I can apply for?
A: Carevo is not a traditional job board. Instead of applying for fixed listings, you register your availability and credentials. We present your profile to NDIS and aged‑care providers hiring gardeners, and they contact you directly about work that suits you.
Q: Does it cost anything to register?
A: No. Registering your availability with Carevo is free for workers. There are no fees and no charge to be presented to providers in our network.
Q: What do I need to start gardener work?
A: Most gardener roles require a current Police Check, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, and any role‑specific qualifications. You can register your interest before every check is finalized and let providers know what is still in progress.
Q: How soon will providers contact me?
A: It depends on demand in your area and on your availability and credentials. Providers in the Carevo network review registered workers regularly and reach out directly when your profile matches what they need.
Q: Do I have to accept work that is offered?
A: No. You choose which providers to talk to and which work to take on. Registering simply makes you visible to providers hiring near you.
