STAINLESS STEEL WORKSHOP FABRICATION POSITIONS

SGM FABRICATION AND CONSTRUCTION, a subsidiary of Dominion Global, are seeking to employ permanent and casual Boilermakers for our up-to-date workshop facility in Tomago starting immediately. Overtime and shutdown work available around Australia throughout the year, or shop work only at our Tomago facility if preferred.

SGM’s casual payrate starting from $56.69 through to $62.36 pending on experience and qualifications, with other benefits including a 4 day working week (Monday to Thursday).

Our company offers a complementary range of services to deliver a wide cross-section of infrastructure works, with proven capabilities in fabricated aluminium, carbon steel and stainless-steel structures all in a modern workshop.

About the Role

We are looking for fabricators with strong stainless steel TIG/MIG welding and fabrication skills.



You’ll be working on a variety of projects including pipework, tanks, platforms, and supporting structures

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication
- Competent TIG/MIG welding skills
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team To be eligible for this position, candidates must:
- be a trade qualified Boilermaker.
- have minimum two years Boilermaking or Welding experience post training completion, in the medium to heavy fabrication industry.
- hold a current Driver’s Licence.
- be legally permitted to work in Australia.
