GoFresh IGA Ramsgate is seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our supermarket.
About the Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong team performance, high merchandising standards, effective inventory control, and profitable store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
- Manage daily store operations and ensure excellent presentation standards.
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Drive sales, profitability and operational performance.
- Manage rostering, labour costs and productivity.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, stock control and stocktakes.
- Minimise waste, shrinkage and stock loss.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and banking procedures.
- Maintain food safety, workplace health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor store security and loss prevention.
- Build a positive team culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
About You
- Previous supermarket or retail management experience 2 years+ (essential).
- Proficient in WorldSmart or comparable retail management/POS systems (essential)..
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Experience managing sales, stock, labour and store performance.
- Customer-focused with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
