Our client, located in Crestmead, one of Australia’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of roll formed steel building products are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join their team.
This position is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations including pick and pack, supporting inventory control with timely cyclic counts and assisting with a favourable customer service experience including basic transacting in WMS (warehouse management system).
Monday to Friday - 10am - 6pm
$37.35 per hour plus penalties
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders
- Conduct regular cyclic counts
- Collect items for daily OPU’s
- Loading and Unloading requirements (suppliers, customers, 2nd loads etc)
- Assist with OPU customers (includes customer interfacing)
- Support Sheds team where/when required
- Perform Floor Searches when requested
- Perform site sweeps when required
- General Housekeeping / 5S
- Follow all WH&S; procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Any other duties that may be required
Key Skills:
- Loading / Unloading
- Pick / Packing
- Cycle Counting
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team
- Customer service experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Good communication skills
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Stores/Warehouse workplace
- Experience using RF Scanners
- Forklift and side loader operation - MUST HAVE VALID LF TICKET
- Cyclic counting / stocktake experience
- Experience within administration and computer tasks
