We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join our Engineering team, supporting the manufacture of premium earthmoving attachments and equipment solutions for the construction, mining, agriculture and civil industries.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of engineered products and custom fabrication projects built to withstand demanding Australian conditions.

Working closely with Engineering, Production and Fabrication teams, you will play a critical role in producing accurate manufacturing documentation that ensures quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

About the Role

As a Draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed fabrication, welding and machining drawings used for both in-house and outsourced manufacturing. Your work will directly support production by ensuring drawings, bills of materials and manufacturing documentation are accurate, controlled and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

· Produce detailed fabrication, machining and welding drawings using SolidWorks and CAD software.

· Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), DXF files and job cards.

· Update and revise engineering drawings in accordance with document control procedures.

· Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to ensure drawings meet manufacturing requirements.

· Assist in identifying opportunities for product improvements and standardisation.

· Maintain drawing revision registers and support management of change processes.

· Ensure manufacturing documentation is accurate, organised and readily accessible.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production.

About You

You are a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsperson who enjoys seeing designs become high-quality manufactured products. You communicate well with others, take pride in your work and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills & Experience





· Minimum 3 years' experience using SolidWorks and CAD in a manufacturing, production or similar industry.

· Experience preparing fabrication and manufacturing drawings.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy.

· Robust organisational and time management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience working collaboratively within engineering and production teams.

Desirable Skills

· Experience using ERP systems.

· Knowledge of the earthmoving equipment or heavy machinery industry.

· Experience with engineering purchasing or workflow management.
