A leading international trading and supply solutions business is seeking an experienced Perishable Cargo Export Documentation Officer to join their growing team in Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in export documentation, international logistics, and temperature-controlled/perishable cargo who wants to be part of a fast-paced global trading workplace. You will play a key role in ensuring export shipments are accurately documented, compliant, and delivered efficiently across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage export documentation for perishable and temperature-controlled cargo
- Create purchase and sales orders for reefer shipments
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, loading documentation, and shipment requirements
- Prepare and verify key export documents including:
- Packing Lists
- Health & Halal Certificates
- Certificates of Origin
- Bills of Lading
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight providers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Review and approve supplier, freight, and transport invoices
- Manage documentation issues, delays, and exceptions through to resolution




- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with team development

About You:

- Experience in export documentation, international trade, or logistics coordination
- Strong understanding of shipping documentation and export processes
- Experience working with perishable, refrigerated, or temperature-controlled cargo (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of DAFF, MICOR, and export compliance requirements
- Experience exporting to markets such as the Middle East, Africa, or Europe is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator who can build relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
