What We’re Looking For?

An experienced & fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic

A positive attitude with a "fix it right the first time" mindset & high attention to detail

Someone well-organized, autonomous and pro-active with a commitment to safety and teamwork

Basic electrical diagnostic skills & repairs

Diagnose, find faults and problem solve mechanical and electrical issues, on a range of truck models

Schedule regular maintenance including performing inspections and reporting on conditions of vehicles and required works

Dismantle, repair and major overhauls of diesel engines and components

Test and replace parts, ensuring safety and manufacturer specifications are met

Attend urgent breakdowns day or night.

The candidate we are looking for will have

Dual Trade Electrical applicants Highly Advantageous

Experience in transport industry

Experience with Kenworth, Mercedes, Iveco, Volvo

Experience with trailers (Drop decks, End tippers, Flattops)

Proven competence working in a Workshop

MC License (not required, but preferred)

Sound computer skills

Ability to lead, demonstrate and educate employees to embrace a safe & productive work environment.

Good problem solving and planning skills
