Position Profile

We are currently seeking to appoint a Plumber to carry out maintenance, repair and operational requirements of all plumbing services at hospital sites within WACHS – Midwest.

Suitability Criteria

- Possess a current Plumbing Licence for the State of Western Australia with work experience sufficient to be able to work autonomously or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate experience in plumbing within a complex setting and a systematic approach to the management of risks within hydraulic systems.
- Prioritise work effectively in a busy service environment and escalated concerns when needed.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, staff and stakeholders.
- Eligible for and in possession of a current C or C‑A Class driver’s licence or other specialised licence class.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, applicants found suitable for this position may be considered for other similar vacancies within WACHS and/or the wider WA public sector. Both options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
