The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section (RFDSSE) is part of one of Australia’s most respected and trusted organisations, providing 24-hour emergency aeromedical retrievals and essential healthcare to people living and working in remote, rural, and regional communities.

Based in Condobolin, RFDS Medical Services opened in 2024 with a vision to deliver accessible, in-town medical care for residents and surrounding communities. Since then, RFDS Medical Services has grown into a thriving practice, servicing the Condobolin township and surrounding regions. The Opportunity

- Manage front desk operations, including triaging calls and coordinating patient appointments
- Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to clinical staff
- Maintain accurate patient records, document management, and confidentiality
- Process Medicare, DVA, insurance, and WorkCover billing and reconciliations
- Facilitate telehealth appointments and manage appointment systems
- Liaise with hospitals, pathology providers, and external stakeholders to coordinate patient care
- Handle patient enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Support the Practice Manager with daily operations and act as a stand‑in during leave periods

About You

- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team




- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Knowledge of healthcare or related industry
- Ability to perform secretarial duties supporting General Practitioners and Practice Nurses to maintain productive operations
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work autonomously when required
- High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Evidence of Category A Vaccinations or ability to obtain
- Current NSW Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
