Property and Leasing Administration Officer
This is a permanent full‑time position commencing September 2026.
Education Business Services (EBS) provides professional business services and operational support to Western Australian public schools, statutory boards and Department divisions across finance, ICT and infrastructure. EBS is committed to delivering responsive, flexible, transparent, accountable and collaborative services that strengthen organisational capability and support the delivery of high‑quality education outcomes.
Within EBS, the Infrastructure Division is responsible for the planning, provision and management of educational facilities, including land planning, asset management, capital works and maintenance programs. The Infrastructure Operations Directorate supports schools through property management, lease and shared‑use arrangements, security and emergency management, environmental services and management of the WA Schools Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract.
The Role
The successful applicant will undertake daily administration of the Department’s lease and licence portfolio, manage the lease and licence database and ensure it is accurate and kept up to date. They will review new leases and licences for terms and conditions, develop processes to ensure key obligations are met, and manage the financial aspects of leases and licences, including rent and variable outgoing payments.
They will develop reports to keep key staff within Infrastructure updated on the status of leases and licences and associated budgets, and conduct research to inform annual departmental budgets, rent reviews and reports,
alerting the Principal Consultant Property and Contracts to issues, risks and potential breaches.
