WhiteBox is seeking experienced strategy, transformation, corporate development and M&A; professionals to help shape the next chapter of Social Enterprise in Australia. The Strategy Director role

Help shape a nationally significant initiative from the ground up. This role will suit someone who enjoys building as much as advising and who is excited by the opportunity to help shape work that could influence an entire sector.

You'll work closely with CEOs, Boards, funders, government stakeholders and enterprise leaders to tackle challenges that sit at the intersection of commercial performance, inclusion and systems change.

As a Director, you'll be responsible for steering disability enterprises through growth and transformation, from clarifying strategic direction and assessing new market opportunities through to pursuing acquisitions, strengthening commercial performance and scaling employment outcomes.

Success Profile

You'll likely thrive in this role if you:

- Build trusted relationships with CEOs, Boards and executive teams, often becoming involved before opportunities are formally defined.
- Draw on a well-rounded strategy, transformation and commercial skillset developed through consulting,



corporate strategy, M&A;, private equity, growth or similarly complex environments.
- Identify and pursue growth, acquisition, partnership or transformation opportunities, helping organisations navigate both risk and opportunity.
- Lead complex initiatives from early exploration through to implementation, translating analysis into decisions, action and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrate a track record of creating significant commercial uplift, organisational growth, social impact, or a combination of all three.
- Guide organisations through significant change, ideally within large and complex social-sector, human services, disability, education or community-based organisations, balancing commercial realities with stakeholder confidence and long-term impact.
- Create momentum through influence, collaboration and sound judgement, bringing diverse stakeholders on a journey rather than relying on formal authority.
