Student Experience Advisor – Immediate Start

LCI Melbourne – a globally connected institute of higher education in art, design, and entrepreneurship, based in Collingwood – is looking for an energetic, highly personable Student Experience Advisor to join our team on a full-time basis, with a fixed term 12 month's contract and ideally able to start IMMEDIATELY. This is a front-facing, fast-paced role at the centre of campus life – ideal for someone who is resilient, self-managed, and genuinely energised by helping people.

No two days look the same. One moment you're welcoming a new student at reception, the next you're troubleshooting an enquiry in Clara or Omnivox, coordinating an orientation event, or checking in on a student who needs a hand. You'll wear a lot of hats, manage plenty of detail across our systems and policies, and do it all with a warm, solution-focused approach.

About the Role

As the Student Experience Advisor, you will:

- Collaborate with Admissions to ensure a smooth transition for current students through orientation and ongoing support.
- Provide guidance on academic, personal, and wellbeing matters, and facilitate access to resources, including mental health services.
- Monitor student progression and implement timely interventions with academic and support teams.
- Assist the Student Representative Council (SRC) with events and provide administrative support.
- Organize social, academic, and career development events that enhance the student experience.




- Maintain student records and communicate through campus platforms and social media.
- Serve as a key contact for students, connecting them to necessary resources throughout their journey.
- Support the Campus Director with feedback, reporting, and strategic initiatives to enhance the overall student experience.

About You

You'll bring

- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A resilient, highly personable, and solution-orientated approach to everyday challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy for diverse student backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills, comfort managing detail across systems and policy, and the ability to juggle competing priorities calmly.
- Experience handling sensitive student matters with discretion, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Omnivox Lea) and technology for student support.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
