About the organisation PBE Rutherford Mining is a proudly Australian-owned engineering and manufacturing business delivering innovative electrical and safety solutions to the mining industry. Working alongside sister company ADE Power, the business designs, manufactures and services products that support customers across Australia.

As both businesses continue to grow, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to provide leadership across the supply chain function, supporting multiple manufacturing sites, service operations and national project delivery.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Supply Chain Manager will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise across procurement, demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics and supplier performance, ensuring the efficient flow of materials from suppliers through to operations, and ultimately customers.

Partnering closely with senior leaders across operations, finance and project delivery, you will influence business performance through strategic supplier management, inventory optimisation, commercial decision-making and continuous improvement. Your ability to analyse data, identify opportunities and implement practical solutions will be instrumental in improving operational efficiency and supporting the organisations’ continued growth.

With ongoing investment in systems, technology and supply chain capability,



this role offers the opportunity to build and embed best-practice systems, processes and ways of working and shaping the future direction of the supply chain function.

About You

You are a commercially minded supply chain leader who balances strategic thinking with operational execution. Comfortable operating within a manufacturing or engineering environment, you combine strong commercial judgement with the emotional intelligence to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and lead change in a collaborative and respectful way. You thrive on fostering accountability, developing high-performing teams and delivering practical improvements that create sustainable business outcomes.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- Extensive end-to-end supply chain leadership experience.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
- Strong supplier relationship and strategic sourcing capability.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- The ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Professional supply chain qualifications (e.g. APICS or CIPS) will be highly regarded.




- Experience working with ERP systems within a manufacturing environment is desirable.
