About Your New Job
Tamworth Hospital are looking for Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to work across multiple wards within their facility. You'll have the opportunity to rotate across a variety of departments or specialise in an area that aligns with your passion. You’ll join a professional, supportive team committed to guiding and empowering you throughout every stage of your nursing journey.
You’ll not work alone; you’ll receive supernumerary shifts to support learning and ongoing support from ENs, RNs, and the Nurse Unit Manager. Tamworth Hospital champions professional growth and encourages staff to pursue ongoing professional development.

Tamworth Hospital is the principal referral hospital for the northern sector of Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD), servicing a population of over 180,000 people. This major rural referral facility provides a wide range of specialist services, including emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation, and outpatient services.

Requirements
Certificate III Assistant in Nursing; or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year); or currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diploma of Nursing (completion of identified foundational units in practice and 120 hours of clinical placement).

- To be eligible for permanent employment you must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a Current Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
