Job Description
Our team delivers a diverse range of transportation projects for funding agencies, national and local governments, highway authorities and private sector clients. From major infrastructure programs to smaller, technically complex projects, you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of work. As part of multidisciplinary teams, you’ll broaden your knowledge, build practical skills and develop an understanding of the full project lifecycle.
We are looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Adelaide team.
How you’ll make a difference
- Support projects across different stages of the project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction and opening.
- Assist with engineering design, project coordination, technical documentation and site activities under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Contribute to developing innovative and sustainable solutions to real‑world engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help deliver major roadway and transport infrastructure projects.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits and learning opportunities to build your technical knowledge and professional skills.
- Gain hands‑on experience while working alongside industry experts on projects that help shape communities.
Summer Internship Program
- 12‑week paid internship (mid‑November to mid‑February)

Qualifications
- Summer Intern attributes : Curious and excited to apply studies in a professional environment. Robust communication and teamwork skills, positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree : In your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering with a strong interest in transport and roads.
- Commencement : Able to work full‑time hours from mid‑November 2026 to mid‑February 2027.
- Working Rights : Must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
