Overview

Do you know your way around a coffee machine and have a passion for supporting older Australians? We’re looking for volunteers for our residential aged care cafes — creating social connections and welcoming spaces to improve the quality of life of our residents.

Responsibilities

- Serving with a Smile: Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light refreshments to residents, staff, and visitors, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Creating Connections: Build relationships with residents, offering a friendly chat while you serve their favourite drinks and snacks.
- Keeping the Café Clean & Cozy: Help maintain the café’s cleanliness and organisation, ensuring a relaxing experience for everyone.

Qualifications

- Experience: Some experience working with coffee machines or in food service environments is desirable.
- Heart: A genuine passion for supporting seniors and making their day brighter.
- People Skills: Friendly, patient, and a good listener — residents enjoy a friendly chat and positive interaction.
