We are partnering with a mining operator to appoint Construction Supervisors to support surface plant, and infrastructure works on an active brownfield site. You will join a small, adaptable project team where hands‑on leadership and flexibility are essential for success.
On a 2/1 FIFO roster from Townsville or Brisbane, you will supervise day‑to‑day construction activities, coordinate contractors, and ensure safe, efficient delivery of works. Weekly charter flights from Cloncurry to both Brisbane and Townsville make travel more efficient. The construction phase is expected to run for approximately 5 months, aligned with project completion.
In this role, you will ensure strong communication across the team, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and contribute to the smooth delivery of brownfield construction works within a compact project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site‑based surface plant & infrastructure construction
- Coordinate contractors and daily activities on site
- Monitor safety, quality, and schedule compliance
- Support project team communication and site productivity
- Ensure adherence to site procedures and standards
- Oversee the process plant EPC contractor quality and progress, FIFO 2/1 roster with weekly charter flights for efficient travel
- Opportunity to contribute to a defined 5‑month construction phase

About the Candidate
- Proven background in mining construction supervision
- Qualified electrical technical background preferred
- Experience on supervising electrical installation and testing scopes on industrial sites
- Strong capability in brownfield project environments
- Collaborative and adaptable team player
- Committed to safe and high‑quality outcomes
- High voltage electrical experience well regarded
