Classification: Senior Manager 1 (Administration) Salary package: $141,637 - $148,403 per annum plus 17% Superannuation Terms: Full time, Fixed term – until July 2027
Seeking an experienced and strategic HR leader to join the People & Culture Division as a Manager, HR Business Partnering, leading a team of HR Business Partners and Advisors supporting a diverse portfolio across ANU Colleges and Professional Services.
The Position
This role is accountable for the delivery of strategic HR advice and services within a dedicated client portfolio. The role is the primary point of contact for your stakeholder senior leaders and employees, and encompasses the execution and implementation of HR initiatives aligned to business units and the broader University strategy.
You will manage a team of HR Business Partners and HR Advisors, providing support and guidance on complex HR issues, and identifying ways to continuously improve team performance and build capability. You will be a trusted advisor to the business and work with leaders providing expert strategic HR advice and support across a range of HR matters, such as workforce planning, performance and capability development design, case management, culture and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, work health and safety, and implementation of contemporary people management strategies.
The Person
We are looking for someone with a high level of knowledge and understanding of contemporary Human Resources issues, someone who can think big picture and operationalise key initiatives to facilitate a positive campus culture.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record on fostering a culture of continuous development and the ability to develop a high functioning team.
You will have proven experience as a senior HR business partner, experience working across the full employment lifecycle, the willingness to look for solutions, and the ability to work with a fair degree of autonomy. You will be an adept communicator with the ability to quickly establish credibility and forge lasting relationships with clients. You will be a proactive thinker who collaborates across the business to provide cutting-edge, data-driven decisions for your client group.
