Whether you're supporting a child to communicate, helping someone maintain independence, assisting a family through challenging circumstances or delivering specialist services, your expertise helps people achieve outcomes that matter most to them.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention and evaluation.
- Deliver individual and group-based services.
- Manage a client caseload in accordance with service provision guidelines and/or external agency requirements.
- Prescribe assistive technology for position and function.
- Meet individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor and evaluate the provision of individualized and person‑centred services and supports to ensure adherence to organisational policies, procedures, standards and relevant contractual obligations.
- Report to the Program Manager any issues relating to or impacting upon service provision for areas of responsibility.
- Provide an integrated and holistic approach to service in liaison with team members, other health professionals and community agencies as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent, and general registration with AHPRA to practice in Tasmania.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a case load of clients, consistently meeting service delivery objectives and timeframes.
- High level of interpersonal skills as this role requires you to work within an interdisciplinary team, external organisations and a varied client base.
- Robust written communications skills for writing comprehensive, concise and accurate reports for client recommendations.
- Ability to implement person and family‑centred interventions.
- Valid driver’s licence for Tasmania.
- Previous experience and knowledge in working in the early intervention space or with children with a disability.
- Understanding of funding models, specifically the NDIS.

Required Compliance Documents:

- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card (NDIS‑endorsed activity).
- Current National Police Check.
