Key Information - Position Type: Full time, fixed term until 30 June 2027 - Location: Palmerston - Salary Range: $117,721- $126,473 per annum as per Classification RN 4.1 – 4.3 - Application Closing Date: 23 July 2026 About the Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Leader to join our Danggal Dalby ‘Strong Kids Team at Danila Dilba Health Service.

The Team Leader Danggal

Dalby will lead and support the Danggal Dalby Team and coordinate the provision of program within our DDHS clinical services. Assisting the Child and Family Manager with grants management relevant to Danggal Dalby program delivery. In an addition the Danggal Dalby Team Leader will implement and assist Senior Manager Child and Families to implement Danggal Dalby into DDHS services by supporting CQI and policy and Clinical governance for Child and Family services, Education and training support for PHC specific to Child and Family health and conduct developmental screening for children and families.

What You

Need to Succeed Current registration with AHPRA with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.

- Demonstrated experience in working effectively in midwifery or child health program management and prevention activities.
- High level of administrative and organisational skills including experience managing workloads within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience in team leading of multidisciplinary team’s minimum of 2 years or similar team leading activities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with people and stakeholders across a range of cultures and professions.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills with an ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.




- Ability to work independently with strong organisational skills and demonstrated ability to plan, manage and prioritise tasks to deliver outcomes within tight timelines.
- Demonstrated high level computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel as well as the ability to use clinical practice software.
- Post graduate qualifications or working towards qualification in child health.
- Membership of a professional association - Demonstrated experience and expert competency in working with Communicare - Experience in facilitating programs with internal and external service providers.
- Experience in working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service or similar complex environment such as service industry or public administration. Want to talk this job through some more?
