Lead Community Impact Across Moreton Bay
Location: Lawnton, Kallangur & Redcliffe (rotational across sites)
Employment Type: Full time Fixed Term Contract

Classification: SCHADS Level 5.1 plus superannuation and salary packaging

We are seeking experienced and passionate leaders to join our Housing & Neighbourhoods team in one of three Team Leader positions:
- Homestay Team Lead x 2 Positions
- Intake & Triage Team Lead x 1 Position
- Homeless Outreach Access Program (HOAP) & Immediate Housing Response (IHR) Team Lead x 2 Positions
These positions provide an exciting opportunity to lead skilled teams of up to six professionals, support quality service delivery, and contribute to positive outcomes for individuals, families and communities across Moreton Bay.
About the Roles
Homestay Team Lead
Lead a team delivering tenancy sustainment, brief intervention and case management services to individuals and families at risk of homelessness. The role focuses on service quality, staff development, stakeholder engagement and positive housing outcomes.
Intake & Triage Team Lead
Lead Encircle's Intake & Triage function, ensuring high-quality intake, assessment, risk screening and referral pathways for community members accessing Housing & Neighbourhoods services. The role includes staff supervision, practice leadership and service improvement responsibilities.
HOAP & IHR Team Lead
Lead outreach and housing-focused teams delivering the Homeless Outreach Access Program (HOAP), Immediate Housing Response (IHR) and HOAP for Pets services. This position supports staff working with people experiencing homelessness and housing instability through outreach, case management and housing-focused interventions.
What You'll Be Doing
Across all Team Leader positions, you will:
- Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and coaching to frontline staff.
- Support quality practice through strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally safe approaches.
- Monitor service delivery, reporting requirements and contractual outcomes.
- Support staff capability development, reflective practice and professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community, government and sector stakeholders.
- Contribute to service planning, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with organisational, legislative and funding requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within community services, housing, homelessness or related sectors.
- Experience supporting staff, managing service delivery and achieving program outcomes.
- Strong assessment, risk management and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to person-centred, strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally safe practice.
- Strong organisational, reporting and communication skills.
Working Hours - Monday to Friday
- Homestay Team Lead - 8:00am to 4:06pm
- Intake & Triage Team Lead - 8:00am to 4:06pm
- HOAP & IHR Team Lead - Rotating roster: Two weeks: 8:00am to 4:06pm & Two weeks: 12:00pm to 8:06pm
Locations All positions work across Encircle's Lawnton, Kallangur and Redcliffe sites on a rotational basis.
