Business Analysts seek to understand business processes and determine business requirements for systems.

Responsibilities

- Lead the business analysis activities in a multi‐disciplinary agile delivery team in pre‐discovery, discovery and design and delivery
- Plan and document user interviews, understand and document both high‐level and detailed business problems, and analyse root causes
- Design and facilitate workshops and interviews that include a variety of internal and external stakeholders across all levels
- Manage stakeholder groups to develop a partnership with the business and foster a productive working environment
- Transform defined business needs into outcomes and problem statements for large‐scale Government applications and complex systems
- Communicate well,



using skilled judgement to evaluate risks and in the context of a complex and changing environment
- Foster a positive workplace culture
- Assist in mentoring and upskilling less experienced team members
- Preparation and coordination of policy formulation and/or project management
- Work within a multi‐disciplinary agile team to achieve common outcomes
- Perform additional duties or assume responsibility of functions as directed from time to time
