The Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria seeks Sheriff’s officers to enforce warrants, collect fines, and contribute to a safer Victoria. The role is largely outdoors with day or afternoon shifts and an eight‑day fortnight roster that provides a four‑day weekend every second week.

Responsibilities include resolving unpaid fines, collecting money after a VCAT hearing, assisting homeowners with mortgage payment issues, and handling individuals who did not appear in court.
