The Opportunity

We are looking for an energetic and hands-on Production Coordinator (2IC) to manage daily floor execution and serve as the Second-in-Charge to our Production Manager. In this pivotal role, you will bridge tactical planning with active floor coordination—ensuring planning schedules, rostering and production are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated production supervisor or senior lead looking to step into a formal 2IC role with strong professional growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily shift execution across all production lines to meet daily output schedules and throughput targets.

- Serve as the first escalation point for operational bottlenecks, minor mechanical downtime, or batch adjustments.

- Coordinate shift rosters,



manage daily floor assignments, and dynamically reallocate staff to maintain optimal efficiency.

- Review operator batch logs, pasteurization hold times, and Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) records daily to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.

- Monitor batch consistency on the floor to reduce Not Right First Time (NRFT) occurrences and manage rework processing.

- Step into the Production Manager role during periods of leave or off-peak shifts to ensure seamless site leadership.

What We Are Looking For

- 2 years experience in a supervisory or senior operator role within dairy or FMCG manufacturing organisation.

- Practical understanding of dairy processing (pasteurization, CIP systems, hygienic filling) and GMP/HACCP standards.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to direct, motivate, and hold shift teams accountable.

- Ideally practical understanding of dairy processing (pasteurization, CIP systems) and GMP/HACCP standards.

- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Operations Management is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
