Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our Kalgoorlie Workshop on a residential 8:6 roster. Based in our well-equipped workshop, you will oversee maintenance activities, heavy equipment rebuilds, fabrication works, and workshop services while managing workshop assets and coordinating daily operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes while leading a team of tradespeople and support personnel. The workshop plays a critical role in supporting mining operations through heavy equipment overhauls, fabrication projects, and specialist workshop services, making this an excellent opportunity for a solid leader with a background in mining equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

- Oversee maintenance activities, heavy equipment rebuilds, fabrication works, and workshop services in the Kalgoorlie workshop.
- Manage workshop assets and coordinate daily operations; lead a team of tradespeople and support personnel to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; drive continuous improvement in workshop processes.
- Support mining operations through heavy equipment overhauls, fabrication projects, and specialist workshop services.

What We're Looking For

- Trade-qualified with experience in mining, heavy mobile equipment, mechanical maintenance, or related field.




- P​roven experience supervising workshop teams within a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing assets, maintenance schedules, and workshop resources.
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment rebuilds, fabrication processes, and workshop operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
