Role Description

The Leasing & Asset Manager is a newly created, full-time role based in Brisbane, with weekly attendance at the North Gold Coast, reporting directly to the Senior Investment Manager. The position has been established to provide dedicated leasing and asset management support across Natgen's income-producing trust portfolio as the platform scales.

The successful candidate will take ownership of leasing campaigns, tenant negotiations and lease documentation across multiple trusts, working alongside the in-house property management team. On the leasing side, the role runs tenant sourcing and market positioning, negotiates Heads of Agreement, incentive structures and rental reviews, and coordinates documentation through to execution with external solicitors. On the asset management side, it covers lease compliance, outgoings recovery, make‑good, insurance renewals, inspections and compliance, and day‑to‑day tenant relationship matters.

This is a principal‑side role offering exposure across a diversified portfolio of investment trusts and live development projects,



with direct mentorship on acquisitions, asset strategy and investor relations, and genuine scope to grow with the platform.

Qualifications

- 1 to 4 years' experience in commercial or industrial leasing, ideally within an agency environment (CBRE, Colliers, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Knight Frank or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate lease terms, HOAs and incentive structures across retail, industrial and/or office asset classes
- Robust understanding of the SEQ commercial property market, including tenant demand drivers and rental benchmarks
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to engage tenants, agents and property managers directly
- Self‑motivated and highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities across concurrent trusts
- Tertiary qualification in property, business, legal or a related discipline
- Principal‑side exposure (REIT, fund manager, syndicator or developer)
- Experience with strata industrial or commercial sales, including pre‑commitment campaigns
- Familiarity with property management software (Re‑Leased, MRI or similar)
- Understanding of wholesale fund structures and investor reporting
- Current Queensland real estate licence, or the ability to obtain one
- Commission on the sale of industrial and commercial strata units across Natgen's development trusts, providing a direct line to additional earnings as the development pipeline delivers
- Competitive base salary plus superannuation, commensurate with experience
