We’re currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Support Specialist to support the delivery of complex project quotations for a specialist equipment supplier in the electricity infrastructure sector.

Working closely with the sales, procurement and operations teams, you'll interpret technical drawings, identify material requirements, source suitable products and prepare accurate quotations for transmission, distribution and utility infrastructure projects.This role would suit someone with a technical mindset who enjoys problem-solving and wants to build a long-term career within the electricity infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities

- Prepare material take-offs and project quotations.
- Source products, pricing and availability from suppliers.
- Review project requirements and identify technical queries or risks.
- Interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Work closely with sales, procurement and operations to deliver accurate quotations.
- Assist with project planning,



logistics and supply coordination
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to process improvements.
- Develop strong technical product knowledge across electricity infrastructure projects.

Required Experience

- Ability to read technical drawings, or the aptitude to quickly develop this skill.
- Experience in electrical wholesale, utilities, estimating, engineering, procurement or a similar technical environment (preferred but not essential).
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient with computer systems and able to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine willingness to learn.

Qualifications

- No specific qualifications required however an understanding of electrical drawings would be highly regarded.
