About the role

We are seeking motivated and interested candidates wanting to start their career in Telecommunications.

At Syndeticom as a valued member of the team, you will receive excellent on the job training as well as working in a supportive setting.

Throughout your 3 year apprenticeship, you will be studying a Certificate III in Telecommunications.



If you have on the job experience and no Certificate III - Apply! and we can utilise your skills!

Tasks and responsibilities

- Running cables
- Termination of cables
- Locate, identify and rectify telecommunications network faults
- Install, test and terminate optical fibre cable
- Install cable trays
- Conduit work
- Use of hand and power tools
- Customer service
- Programming
- Completing paperwork and records

Must have:

- Driver’s licence is not essential but desirable, to be able to travel from site to site when required.
- Experience with using basic hand tools
- White card
- 10830001 - Silica Awareness card
- 11084NAT - Asbestos Awareness card

To be successful:

- Have a passion for this trade and wants to be part of a growing business once completed apprenticeship
- Not afraid of physically demanding work
- Able to work at heights or in confined spaces when required
- Well presented
- Great work ethic
- Dedicated and wanting to learn
- Follows direction well
- Able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Federal Police check before commencing.
