Please note this is an on-site trade based role. This is not a desk/computer based role and requires you to work on construction sites and in existing apartment buildings daily.

DigiSat Technology Australia Pty Ltd is a well-established and quality focused Telecommunications Company in the greater Sydney area with an outstanding level of customer service and workmanship. We specialise in MATV / SMATV system installations and maintenance, Fibre Optics and Data Network installations and certifications.

Due to a constantly growing workload, we are looking for an enthusiastic & hardworking technician who is ready to hit the ground running for installations and service/repair of existing residential unit buildings and commercial properties.

The position is suitable for an experienced technician capable & confident enough to work on MATV/SMATV/IPTV/Fibre TV systems on roofs & in roof spaces with an attention to detail. Please note this is an 'in office' role, where the majority of your days will be spent either at construction sites or unit complexes undertaking physical installation, maintenance and repair of MATV/SMATV/IPTV systems.

Main Duties:

- Examine plans, specifications and work areas to determine the location and connection requirements for telecommunications equipment.
- Install, configure, test and commission MATV, SMATV, IPTV and other telecommunications and data transmission systems.
- Install, terminate and test data and fibre-optic cabling, connectors and related equipment.
- Install, service and maintain television antennas, satellite dishes, distribution equipment and telecommunications devices.
- Use electronic testing instruments to test signal strength, connectivity and system performance.
- Diagnose and locate faults in telecommunications and audiovisual systems.
- Adjust, replace and repair faulty telecommunications equipment,



cables and system components.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on telecommunications systems.
- Provide technical assistance to clients and explain the operation of installed equipment.
- Prepare installation records, test results and service reports.
- Follow work health and safety requirements when working on construction sites, roofs and within roof spaces.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications What we require from you:

- NSW Drivers License
- General Construction Induction Card (white card)

- Working at Heights Certification
- Advanced Diploma of Telecommunications Network Engineering or equivalent
- Professional, reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Attention to detail with a neat & tidy work ethic
- Friendly and respectful attitude towards customers and work colleagues
- No criminal history (Police Check is required)
- Experience with MATV/SMATV/IPTV/Fibre TV systems (12 month minimum)
- Ability to work autonomously on site, troubleshoot and make required repairs and report accordingly
- Some weekend and on-call work will be required from time to time

- Salary range $75,000-$85,000
