The Opportunity

This is a role we've taken time to get right – and we're excited to bring the right person into it.

As Territory Manager for SA and NT, you'll have genuine ownership of your patch. You'll be supported by stakeholders across our brands, backed by deep technical and operational expertise, and trusted to build lasting customer relationships across a broad and varied product suite.

This is an autonomous role with real scope – and for the right person, it's the first step in something bigger. We see this as a platform for growth, with genuine career development pathways within the Questas Group, including the potential for this role to evolve at a national level.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and grow an allocated customer base across SA and NT
- Actively generate new business, identify leads, convert prospects and expand the customer base across the territory
- Prepare and present technically accurate, commercially sound quotes tailored to customer needs




- Build and execute structured call plans and account development plans
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers and understand their buying criteria and objectives
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitors, pricing, capacity and industry trends
- Record activity in the CRM and contribute to monthly sales forecasting
- Participate in sales meetings, marketing events and other business activities as required

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone already embedded in the industries we serve – currently working in hydraulics, fluid power, mining services, industrial distribution or a related field:

- 3–5 years' experience in technical sales, external sales or technical support with a sales component
- Genuine understanding of the markets we work in – hydraulics, mining, oil and gas, defence, manufacturing, maintenance, repair or component supply
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and manage existing accounts
- Self-motivated, well-organised and comfortable working autonomously
- Team player with a positive, flexible attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Desirable but not essential:

- Trade qualification or TAFE/university study in mechanical fitting or a related discipline
- Experience with CRM systems and structured sales reporting
- A strong understanding of the SA and NT industrial or mining market
