We are looking for a Test and Process Analyst to join our People Operations team and play a key role in delivering a number of exciting People systems and continuous improvement initiatives that will support the future success of Curtin University.

Working closely with People Operations, People Technology and Digital Technology Services, you will help ensure recent systems and process improvements are thoroughly tested, fit for purpose, and ready to deliver a seamless experience for our staff.

About The Role As our Test and Process Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing testing activities across a range of People systems and improvement projects. You will work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, document business processes, identify risks, and ensure new functionality integrates effectively into existing operations.

Other key responsibilities: Develop and execute functional, integration and regression testing activities.

Create and maintain test plans, test cases and supporting documentation.

Document business processes, operational scenarios and knowledge resources.

Identify system issues and recommend appropriate testing approaches.

Ensure systems are being used effectively and in line with business processes, with a particular focus on payroll compliance.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working.

Work collaboratively across People Operations, People Technology and Digital Technology Services to deliver practical, high-quality solutions. About youYou are an analytical thinker who enjoys understanding how systems and processes fit together.



You have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders, and thrive in an environment focused on continuous improvement.

Selection Criteria You will bring: A relevant degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases and testing activities.

Knowledge of testing methodologies, particularly within Agile and DevOps environments.

Experience translating business requirements into effective test scenarios and scripts.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build cooperative working relationships.

Advanced Excel skills, with experience using Power BI and SQL.

Experience within the higher education sector or exposure to .NET applications will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Role Requirements: As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
