Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing and quality assurance activities.

This role is responsible for analyzing business and technical requirements, designing test strategies, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about software quality, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to develop comprehensive testing strategies.
- Design, prepare, and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for software applications.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect management tools.
- Verify defect resolutions through retesting and regression testing to ensure application stability.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product managers, and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct API, database, and interface testing where applicable to validate system functionality and data integrity.
- Review technical documentation and ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.
- Monitor software quality metrics and prepare testing reports, dashboards, and release readiness summaries.




- Support test automation initiatives by identifying suitable test cases for automation and collaborating with automation engineers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, quality standards, and knowledge repositories.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards, security requirements, and software development best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging testing technologies, AI-assisted testing tools, and industry trends.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software quality, testing efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and quality assurance principles.
- Knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing,



user acceptance testing (UAT), API testing, and database testing.
- Familiarity with defect management and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of SQL, RESTful APIs, Postman, and database validation techniques.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other contemporary software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of automation testing concepts and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar frameworks is an advantage.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git and CI/CD practices is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple testing activities and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and Agile teams.
