Job Description

Supported by experienced engineers, industry experts and a global network of technical specialists, you’ll develop your technical, professional and project delivery skills while gaining exposure to all phases of engineering projects, from feasibility studies and concept design through to detailed engineering and project delivery.

How you'll make a difference

- Support the delivery of electrical and instrumentation engineering projects across the mining, industrial and transport sectors while learning from experienced engineers.
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and other project documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, structural and process engineers, to contribute to project outcomes.
- Learn how engineering principles,



industry standards and best practices are applied to develop safe, practical and sustainable solutions.
- Participate in site visits, inspections and commissioning activities to gain practical industry experience.
- Contribute to project planning, coordination and technical tasks while building your understanding of project delivery.
- Participate in project meetings and learning opportunities to develop your technical knowledge and professional skills.

Qualifications

- Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional setting. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude,



adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering with a strong interest in mining.
- Commencement: Able to work full time hours from 16 November 2026 – 19 February 2027.
- Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
