Technical Project Manager - Contract | 18 Months | Melbourne (Hybrid) | SAP SuccessFactors ECP & UKG Pro WFM

A large Australian organisation is undertaking a major payroll and workforce management technology transformation, replacing legacy time and attendance and payroll systems with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and UKG Pro WFM. They're looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the technical delivery across this multi-workstream program.

What you'll be doing

- Own the end-to-end technical delivery plan across parallel workstreams, keeping all teams aligned to a master project schedule and shared go-live milestones
- Manage integration design across SAP SuccessFactors, ECP, UKG Pro WFM and other core systems
- Coordinate technical dependencies between workstreams, including payroll rules and timesheet data flows for a synchronised go-live
- Own environment strategy, data migration and cleansing, and technical testing (SIT, UAT, parallel payroll runs)
- Lead cutover and go-live technical planning, including hypercare readiness
- Manage technical risks and issues, escalating to program leadership as needed
- Ensure current technology and integrations fully documented to support change-impact assessments




- Coordinate internal technical resources and delivery-side activities across all workstreams

What we're looking for

- Hands‑on implementation experience with SAP SuccessFactors, including Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Hands‑on implementation experience with UKG Pro WFM
- A track record delivering HCM, payroll or workforce management system implementations, ideally across concurrent, interdependent workstreams
- Strong background in integration architecture, data migration and payroll or timekeeping technical cutover
- Experience in complex, multi‑site enterprise environments is highly regarded
- Relevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus

- Contract role, day rate or fixed term salary
- 18‑month engagement
- Melbourne based, hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite, increasing to 4 days during workshop and cutover/go‑live phases)
